What is Recovery? a new workshop

At discovery college in the adult and older adult programs, we’re pleased to tell you about our next course, a BRAND NEW workshop called ‘What is Recovery?’ The workshop flyer is attached (along with the enrolment form) for you take a look at what  will be explored and what you might get from attending.

We have another excellent co-facilitation team for the workshop, with Di Wiseman (Expert by Profession) and Christian Cosma (Expert by Experience)  running it together on Tuesday 2nd May 2023 from 1.00pm-4.30pm. The venue will again be  549 St Kilda Road in the Level 4 classrooms.

As with all of our courses, enrolments are open to all staff, service users and their families of choice. We hope you might consider enrolling for yourself and also actively promoting it with those you work with, support and/or care for.

NEW – What is Recovery?

This course is great if you want to hear from a wide variety of people sharing their views and experiences on what recovery means and looks like, to them.
In the course we’ll be:
•Hearing stories of recovery from personal and clinical perspectives
•Developing your own ideas about what recovery means
•Exploring how we can have more meaningful and collaborative conversations about recover •Considering the path to recovery (beyond the course)
