Our final event for the year was the annual December dinner held at Prahran Mission restaurant.  The dinner has become increasingly popular over the years with approximately 40 people attending this year.  We all enjoyed the food and the friendly conversation, followed by drinks on the rooftop at sunset. 

The dinner was again subsidised by the Commonwealth Respite and Carelink Centre Southern Region through Lindy who has been a wonderful supporter of our carer group over the years.  We also appreciate the staff at the Mission restaurant who provided us with a delicious meal. 

And thank you to Penny who organised the event.  Penny is our very capable and hard working chairperson who has led our group for several years and ensured that we remain relevant and effective as a mental health carer support group.
