Monash Health have come up with a project idea…Celebrating 10 years of Art in Mental Health. They are asking you to vote for them and two of your other favourites to make your community an even better place to live. Voting closes at 5 p.m. on 15 September.

Upcoming in September and October FREE NDIS information sessions in Narre Warren, Officer, Springvale, Dandenong, Cranbourne, Pakenham
To support the roll out of the NDIS in the south eastern area of Melbourne, the NDIA are offering “Getting Ready for Your Planning Conversation” sessions as well as commencing their “Plan Implementation” information sessions. People can register to attend sessions via this Eventbrite link but there is an open door policy to anyone who would like to attend. If attendees require interpreters, have accessibility requirements or questions about the sessions please email VICEAST@NDIS.GOV.AU.

For Carer Support Groups and Service Providers – Arrange your own carers’ group information session about the NDIS
To support Carers in their preparation for the NDIS, Uniting’s Carer Support Team are offering NDIS Information Sessions for carers living in Casey, Cardinia or Greater Dandenong and who support someone with a mental illness, autism and/or intellectual disability. If you would like to arrange an information session at your specific time and location, please contact their Carer Support Team.

Uniting is offering NDIS information sessions for carers living in the City of Casey, City of Greater Dandenong and the Shire of Cardinia as the NDIS will commence in those areas in September 2018. The sessions will be held at the at Dandenong Neighbourhood House as well as in Springvale at the Uniting Church.
