As a Carers Victoria member you get access to the latest news for carers, special events and discounts.

We are pleased to introduce the 2020-2021 Annual Review.

We are offering our members first access to the report, which features highlights and stories from the work we have been doing to make carers lives better in the last financial year.
Some of the key achievements outlined in this report were presented at our Annual General Meeting, which was held yesterday, Thursday 16 December 2021. The meeting noted that despite the challenges of the pandemic for both carers and Carers Victoria, we continue to offer a diverse range of programs to support carers including pandemic specific work. The contributions of partners, funders, Carers Victoria staff and leadership, as well as carers themselves were all recognised.

During the AGM, several Board appointments were made. Sue Peden, Guy Carvalho and Callum Ingram, were reappointed for a further term. Tina DiNello and Carol Webb were appointed as directors until the 2022 AGM. At a subsequent Board meeting, Nick Field was appointed to fill a casual vacancy created by the recent resignation of Matthew Monaghan and the following directors were appointed to office bearer positions for the coming year: Sue Peden (Chair), Callum Ingram (Deputy Chair) and Guy Carvalho (Treasurer).

Carers Victoria members can now get reduced-price accommodation in picturesque Tootgarook on the Mornington Peninsula at the HappinessFirst Carers Cottage. The little blue cottage is only a five minute walk to local cafes and the beach – the perfect place to recharge after a busy year.
