Neami Central Intake for Bayside-Peninsula catchment of Mental Health Community Support Service (MHCSS) – referrals will close as of 1 April for Individual Client Support Packages (ICSP)

As clarified by Phil Watson (Acting Manager – Neami National MHCSS Intake)…The NDIS rollout in Bayside-Peninsula catchment commences on 1 April 2018. Neami Central Intake will cease accepting MHCSS referrals from 1 April 2018.

Clients / consumers who may benefit from mental health support and are aged from 16 – 65 yo are encouraged to contact Neami on 1300 379 462 to initiate the MHCSS referral process as soon as possible. Please note that consumers who are either on the Neami wait list (by 30 March) OR have existing MHCSS packages, will be supported to transition into the NDIS. After 30 March, all new referrals will need to be made directly to the NDIS (1800 800 110).

N.B. Youth Residential Rehabilitation (YRR) services will continue to operate unchanged by NDIS transition. Adult Residential Rehabilitation (ARR) services will also continue to be allocated for a period of time, but will also eventually transition to NDIS along with Individual Client Support Packages (ICSP).
