The NDIS is now supporting nearly 250,000 Australians, with almost 80,000 people who are now receiving support for the very first time. In Victoria over 50,000 active participants have an approved plan and there is the expectation to see the Victorian NDIS participant numbers grow to more than 105,000. Upcoming group for bereaved carers on offer from Carers Victoria in April/May 2019
This specialist three-day program is for bereaved carers and is facilitated by a Carers Victoria counsellor. It offers an opportunity to explore issues of loss and grief in a safe and supportive environment.
