Turning Point Research Roundup Newsletter Research Roundup Welcome to the February edition of Turning Point’s Research Roundup newsletter. In this edition: A new study is using data to understand the needs of frequent 000 callers with mental illness to improve responses to their healthcare needs. Turning Point is pleased to announce that we have been successful in securing competitive Hospital Contribution Fund (HCF) Grant funding. New research has uncovered an increased likelihood of multiple ambulance attendances for alcohol or drug use, mental illness and self-harm among Victorian children with a history of out-of-home care. A co-design workshop was recently held to identify how ambulance attendance data can best support local governments and organisations seeking to minimise alcohol harms.
