Accessing grief and trauma support during COVID-19

Free, live webinar presented by

Wednesday 28 October, 3pm-4pm AEDT

There’s no question COVID-19 has made life challenging for so many of us – and older Australians, their families, and those working in aged care have been some of the worst impacted.

In response, the Federal Government has invested $12.4 million in a Grief and Trauma Response package to provide support for older Australians, their families, and aged care staff who have been affected by COVID-19.

That’s why we’re holding this webinar – we want to make sure everyone who needs this support knows what’s available and how to access it.

Join guests from each of the organisations charged with the delivery of the support services, who will talk you through the support their organisation can offer you.  They will also discuss training and resources available to aged care facilities, and how these can be accessed.

And, as always, you will have the opportunity to ask the expert panel questions in a live Q&A.

Meet our panel

    • Marie Alford, Dementia Support Australia
    • Associate Professor Andrew Phelps, Phoenix Australia
    • Chris Hall, The Australian Centre for Grief and Bereavement
