Increasing choices and participation in community for people with disability.
The Southern Region Disability Alliance (SRDA), a local government initiative, want all people with disability to participate in community life. Empowerment, choice and control to support peoples economic, social and cultural wellbeing.
To achieve this vision, we need to work with service providers, community organisations and the broader community.
You are invited to workshop to explore and work through the challenges and opportunities to strengthen and support participation in community life.
Who should attend
People with disability, carers, family, community service organisation, disability sector staff and volunteers within community facilities (Neighbourhood Houses and Community Learning Centres), council staff and Disability Advisory Committee members, sport and recreational providers (community, private), NDIS and LAC, disability employment services, advocacy/self-advocacy agencies for people with a disability, students studying community services.

During the workshop participants will have the opportunity to:

and inclusion. - Meet and network with others working or volunteering in
the community and disability sector. - Promote your services to others within the Greater Dandenong, City of Casey and Cardinia Shire.

About the SRDA
The SRDA currently involves City of Greater Dandenong, Cardinia Shire, the City of Casey, has been working to support the access and inclusion of people with disabilities in community life.
