An update about our after-hours service
As of 1st June, Alfred Health Carer Services will be open from 8.30am-5.00pm Monday to Friday.
This will mean a slight change in how you notify us about a change or cancellation to a respite shift we have booked for you.
1. To change or cancel respite in business hour
Call us on 1800 51 21 21 Monday to Friday, 8.30-5pm.
2. To change or cancel respite outside business hours:
Call us on 1800 51 21 21 and leave a message, and
Call the agency providing the respite.
Our Reception team will give you the agency phone number when they confirm worker name and shift with you.
If you have an urgent respite request, you must now call our Carer Gateway service on 1800 422 737, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
